Principal's Message
Welcome to the Scoil Mhuire Ballyhooly website. I hope you find it useful and informative. We aim to keep it as up to date and engaging as possible. Each class has their own page (see the 'Classes' tab at the top of the page) which will be updated as we go through the year. There may be images, videos and documents on the class pages so do check back regularly. Sometimes the class teachers will send an Aladdin notice to let you know if something of interest has been posted on the class page.
You will find a page dedicated to the activities and updates of the Scoil Mhuire Parents' Association. The PA are a vibrant group who work alongside the school to support the children through various fundraising activities and events.
There is also a section of the website which will detail progress to our two upcoming building projects:
1) Special Needs Access Works and
2) Classroom and ASD Suite Extension.
Our school will be transformed over the next few years with these developments and they reflect the passion and drive the community in Ballyhooly has for education.
Scoil Mhuire is a Catholic, co-educational primary school under the patronage of the Bishop of Cloyne, William Crean. Scoil Mhuire offers an education reflective of the Catholic ethos (including preparation for sacraments), however, Scoil Mhuire welcomes children of all faiths (and none) to enrol.
If you have any queries regarding enrolment, our policies or any other matter please do not hesitate in contacting me at 025-39638 or [email protected].
